  • I am especially for term limits for our current President; one term is enough...he has royally screwed the American system and America in the process. We will be paying for his lack of leadership and the social giveaways for the next 200 years.

  • Exactly on the money. Term limits....remember when our representatives served for free? A service to their country, then they returned to live in the land they legislated and had to abide by the laws they enacted. What a concept. Now we need to rid ourselves of career politicians.

  • Do you forget so quickly, that Congress demanded the creation of the programs leading to the Housing and Banking crisis meltdown? They, congress, required banks to create programs allowing un(der)qualified borrowers to purchase homes they had no right and no way to pay for.

  • It can be done again with good fiscal policy and an integrated monetary policy that promotes sensible action. You are correct, a Republican congress did do wonders from 1995-2001 but the world economic conditions were much different then. We need reform on all fronts if we are to survive.
